heart attack or cardiac arrest

lisa haven: hi everybody this is lisa haven and i have an interesting topic for you! and that is, what happens when you die? now, this isone hundred percent proof, from the mouth of ndes which arenear death experience cases. and i am going to get into detail and i am goingto share a couple of stories about that.

heart attack or cardiac arrest

but 100 percent true about whathappens when you die, at least from the mouths of some involved. now, i have been reading this book it is called, â€Å“the supernatural worldview” by chris putnan

and it recently came out. anyhow, i really enjoyed it and i found some greatinsights on it. i am not done reading it yet, but ihave started on it, and i just want to share with you, some ofthose stories from this book and i will leave a link atthe bottom if you want to check that out. but oftentimes, people are left with aquestion: what happens at the end of life?what happens when you die? all religions tend to claim they have ananswer - you have reincarnation as an answer, you have the atheist view - where you just dieand that is it. [chuckles]

and then you have the christiananswer which is you die and there is a heaven, and there is the hell, which is whati believe. and which is what i know is real, butwe are going to take the advise of near-death experiences andthen make our conclusion. and i think you will be amazed by it.and then you also have the other side where everybody goes to heaven! all paths lead to heaven! is thatreally the case? and that is the question that iwant to address today, but the first near-death experience and these are people who have basically died,

or almost died, or left their body during surgery, or walked down a tunnel,or saw heaven, or saw hell. something happened to these people, when they came back, they had an amazing story andthere are a lot of links that can be seen. so anyway, the first story that i wantto just read to you, again i am going to read it straight fromthis book, is this kimberly clark story and it is about... ...she was one of the workers in thehospital but it is about the girl, maria. and i amjust going to read it to you straight from here, but it is pretty cool.

okay, â€Å“maria had never been to seattle america was everything she had imaginedand more although the rain never stopped thatcrazy flying saucer looking building epitomized america’s excess en la parte superior, however this visit wasonly brief respite from the audacious picking season, like most other migrantworkers she sent her hard-earned wages home. she came to this country for work and flash suddenly, swishing pain, shortnessof breath and darkness

had filled her heart. sirens and traffic and blinding lights were heardoverhead a very skinny nurse said she had a heart attack. she had beenadmitted to the harborview hospital’s coronary care unit. while lyingin the metal frame bed - everything seemed white-clean,a bleach aroma prevailed. surely, she would be upagainst soon, it came again like a cannon-shot - the painin her chest exploded once more. and thereshe went up and out of her body...” now, she was having

a cardiac arrest and here she is, allof a sudden, leaving her body. â€Å“...really, out! she was out of her body! lookingdown, she saw panicked staffrush to her bedside amidst the clamor of squawking alarms. everything was realer than real - hyperreal, high-definition, holographic, multidimensional. she was floating, as the traffic was screaming andequipment was buzzing and beeping, she felt a blissful peace. she rosethrough the ceiling,

through the roof and looked down on thehospital. ‘floating?’ she thought, ‘now that is odd. i am floating.’on a window ledge, she saw a single tattered blue tennisshoes sitting on its frayed lace. she wondered, ‘how did it get way up here on the thirdfloor?’ it had a hole in the pinky toe. all of a sudden, sheshot back into her body and felt an icy hot pain as she lookedup and saw the doctor holding the defibrillator paddles...” so now, what hashappened so far, is she went in for, i believe,

a heart attack or cardiac arrest, but she had this and then she left her body, this happened twocases as far as for her cardiac arrest, and she went up to the thirdfloor of the building and on the third floor she saw the shoewith a shoe lace. and set a certain way - it was you know well - it was sitting a certain way.now, kimberly clark who is the nurse, â€Å“...was working as a social worker atharborview hospital when the unconscious cardiac arrestpatient, maria,

was admitted she had arrested again in the hospital, flat lining for aminute or two, but was resuscitated within the threeminute window. as part of her customary follow-up, clarkvisited her the same day whereupon maria related her out of body experiencefloating above the hospital. in addition to describing maria̢۪sperspective looking down on her body and then rising through the building, clark reported, maria proceeded to describe being further distracted by an object

on the third floor ledge at the north endof the building. she thought her way up there and foundherself eyeball to shoelace with the tennis shoe, which she asked me to find for her. anxiously, to prove that she was not crazy, maria desperately wanted the socialworker to find the shoe.” now, it goes on to say that basically she goes up - kimberly clark - and shegoes up to the third floor and she finds this shoe with the shoelace with the hole inthe pinky toe just as maria had described. and there isno way

that maria would have known that, unless she had a near-death experience orthat out of body experience and this is what we see happening withmaria. that is, 100 percent concrete evidence of someone leaving their body and comingback. now, i want to read you one short one and this is another story about howardstorm and let me read you his is really short. â€Å“storm was on a teaching trip to paris whenhe was suddenly overwhelmed by excruciatingpain and put into an ambulance and rushed to anearby hospital.

for a short while he was dead. as an atheist, storm, expected oblivion at death - to his astonishment he was suddenly outhis body, looking down at the hospital room...” now, keep in mind he is an atheist, so his preconceived beliefs are notdriving this, because if it was his preconceived beliefs, he surely would not have been out of his body as an atheist, okay. â€Å“...then rather than going towards thelight

he was forcibly dragged down to ahorrific place of darkness where monstrous evil entities tortured him in revolting ways...” that kind of sounds like the hell of thebible. he was dragged down to the pits of hell, but it goes on, â€Å“...later rescued andtransported to heaven, he encountered angels and the creatorgod of the bible. he described a life review and an interesting conversation with god. storm was sent back with a newmission

to proclaim the gospel and today he isa pastor of the christian religion.” so you have one near-death experience with mariagoing up being able to see the shoe, okay now, keep in mind maria was fully conscious - she was able to describe a shoe, okay, while her body was down below. okay, most people think, â€Å“your brainis thinking.” yes, your brain is thinking, but even when you are unattached to yourbrain, you still have a conscious mind -i want you to note that.

so, that is one key thing andanother thing that we are noticing with howard storm isthat he too was an atheist and preconceivedideas of what happens to these near-death experiencesdid not exist with him. he was physically dragged to a place of torment and the bible describes thatplace of torment as hell. and i am going to read a couple scriptures ina moment. now, there is another story and i am goingto just try to, because it is a little long, but i am justgoing to

sum it up for you. but it is the pam reynolds story. no, i will read it - it is not that long. so, one more story and then we will stopwith the stories but, â€Å“...reynolds endured an exotic surgical procedure called‘operation standstill,’ to remove a life-threatening aneurysm onher brain stem. the procedure entails: stopping theheart, and the blood is drained from the brain to allow the aneurysm to be removed, even more the body temperature is lowered to sixty degrees while fully anesthetized or with anesthetics

with sound admittingearplugs to verify flat brain wave activity on theeeg (electroencephalography)....” so basically, she was put under by ananesthesiologist sorry if i messed it up earlier, but she was putunder by an anesthesiologist. and they were working on her brain and the heart and she was getting thisaneurysm removed. well, the story goes on to say thatbasically she has the near-death experience. and she floats above her body and she isable to describe all the tools and the conversations thatthe doctor had while she was

â€Å“under.” and it (her description) was to100 percent details, so much so, that the doctors themselveswere just utterly stunned and many of themconverted to christianity. and the thing is, she too was out of her body, whichmeans her conscience was working even thoughthe brain was â€Å“on the table” if you will. so that is another thing that i wanted you to know. now, doctor jeffrey long, who is a radiation oncologist and heactually

founded and you can google this, the near-death experience research foundation (nderf). it is called n-d-e-r-f, that is acronym or the short form of it. okay, and he lists twelve elements common to most near-death experiences. and he is going to list those twelve, now hesurveyed 1300 different near-death experiences andthat is a lot! you know, obviously someone is trying to getthe message out! god, in my opinion and you are goingto see that also, is trying to get

the message out to the world - that he is real, the supernatural worldexist and this is exactly what we are seeing. so, i amgoing to share with you a list of twelve things that doctor jeffrey long found in his research. 1) theyall had an out of body experience. meaning they all left their body and their body was left behind. 2) separation of consciousnessfrom the body. their conscience was separatedfrom their brain. okay. 3) intense positive emotions or feelings.

4) passing into a tunnel. 5) encountering a mystical or brilliant bright light. and on some cases, they passed into darkness andwere dragged into a place of torment, like we heard in... the prior story who washoward... sorry, i am ‘blanking on’ (forgetting) his name, howard storm, like howard storm’s case. okay and then,

6) encountering other beings. either mystical beings and/or dead relatives and dead friends and dead acquaintances, something to that effect. so these people are seeing other people who have died. 7) a sense of alteration of time and space. 8) life review. and that is, a lot of them say that they seetheir whole life pass before their eyes and the crazy thing is

that is exactly what the bible tells usand there is a scripture on that, where our life is replayed in front ofeyes and the bible is clear (1 corinthians 3:13), that we will have to give an accountof our lives, if you will (2 corinthians 5:10). that is just straight out of what godsays 9) encountering unworldly heavenly realms or dark realms if you will. you have your heavenly realmand then you have your hell. 10) encountering or learningspecial knowledge. meaning the reason they were sent (to earth)or sometimes they have a mission when they come back, obviously, to proclaim the gospel as a lot have said.

but they learned things about theafterlife and 11) encountering a boundary or barrier and 12) the individual is returned to the body whetherit was voluntarily done or involuntarily done. now, these are the things that had been found in common in a lot of these cases, and they ‘go hand in hand’ (are consistent) with what the bible says, as far as these experiences areconcerned. and sometimes they are sent back to theirbodies to proclaim the gospel, or sometimes

they do not want to come back but they come back so they can share.but there are all kinds of stories and we need to remember from a christianperspective that there is a heaven and there is a hell and these (testimonies) are ‘straight up’ (precise) examples of that. these are 100 percent evidence that heaven andhell are real and what the bible is saying is real. none of these talked aboutreincarnation, none of these just died and nothing happenedlike what the atheists believe.

all of these did not experience good thingswhen they left - you know some went to a great place and some went to a bad place. okay, so thatmeans some people go to hell, so itdebunks all three of the other theories out there. andthere is only one left, and that is the bible, and the information that we have from the lord that tells us heaven andhell exists. now, two other stories that i want tobring up really quickly are

bill wiese. if you guys have notread his book i believe it is 30 minutes in hell or 15 minutes in hell, â€Å“23 minutes in hell,” i believe. it is afrightening encounter of a man who dies and goes to hell and i highly suggest that you read it. youknow just so that you know that hell is real and helldoes exist and there is such a huge (group), you know, of christian out there. there issuch a huge group of people now claiming that hell is not real. well they are wrong! [chuckles]

and the ndes, those near-deathexperiences - not only does the bible talk about hell - but the near-deathexperiences are proving without a shadow of a doubtthat hell exist. read the book by bill wiese if you do notbelieve in hell or even if you do it is an awesome book. and obviously, mostrecently everybody is probably familiar with the book, â€Å“heaven is for real,” where a three yearold and i believe he was three, do not quote me, but i have read the book andhe dies and he goes to heaven and herecounts his grandfather, he recounts

being with jesus as a three year old! okay, there is no way that a kid that young can have recollection of that nature. so, based on the three accountsyou have heard today, based on bill wiese, based on â€Å“heaven is for real,” we know there is a heaven and there is a hell.so here is just a couple scriptures that i want to close with and it isromans 2:6-8, â€Å“...he will render to each one according tohis works: to those who by patience and well-doingseek for glory and

honor and immortality. he will giveeternal life; but for those who are self-seeking anddo not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will bewrath and fury.” that talks about, in aroundabout way, a heaven and it talks about a hell. okay, here isanother one - hebrews 9:27, â€Å“and just as it is appointed for man todie once, and after that comes judgment,” when we have that life replay (or review) of our whole entire life, run before our eyes.

that is that â€Å“judgment,” that is coming or,you know, that is eventually going to happen. matthew 25:41, â€Å“then he will say to those on hisleft, ‘depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire...’” that sounds liketorture. â€Å“‘...prepared for the devil and his angels.’” thatis a direct reference to hell. here is another one, john 14:2, â€Å“in my father’s house aremany mansions. if it were not so, would i have toldyou

that i go to prepare a place for you?”where is jesus preparing a place for us? that is in heaven, that is in heaven. 1 thessalonians 4:13-18, â€Å“but we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you maynot grieve as others do who have no hope. for since we believe that jesus died androse again, even so, through jesus christ, god willbring with him those who have fallen asleep. for this wedeclare to you by a word from the lord, that we who are alive, who are left untilthe coming

of the lord, will not precede those whohave fallen asleep. for the lord himself will descend fromheaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of god. and the dead in christ will rise first. then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the lord in the air, and so we will always be withthe lord.” now that is a reference to the rapture, if he pulls us up, then we have to be goingsomewhere.

we are not going to be sitting on air - we are going somewhere and that is a heavenly place. matthew 25:46, â€Å“and these will go away intoeternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” now that is just amazing, there are so many scriptures aboutheaven and hell and i just suggest, you know, going over some of them but allthis to say, that there is evidence for what happenswhen we die.

and whether you want to accept that, that evidence is real or you want to push it under the rug andignore it - is up to you. but not only do we have the bible forour evidence screaming to us the truth, because everything else has been disproved by thenear-death experiences, all the other things already disproved it. but the bible remains true, and we need to keep that in mind. and thebible has and always will be the truth.

it is the solid word of god. will you listen to him today? will youlisten to that call on your life? take the people who haveexperienced this as word for it, and understand that the supernaturalworld is real! oftentimes, in other countries across the globe, they experience miracles, and casting out of demons and deliverances and all kinds of these wonderful worksthat god says that we will see. but we in america have a scientificnaturalistic worldview, so it is hard sometimes for us to breakthrough that

boundary line and to understand, â€Å“yes, there is a spiritual realm!” and i just wantto encourage you today to break through that boundary andunderstand that spiritual battle does exist and understand that heaven and hell, god, jesus and the bible are for real! with that, this is lisa haven signing off. end
